Why do people who suffer Torettes shout swear words?

I was thinking about this for a while and then decided i really need an answer, people who have torettes all shout the 'F' and 'C' word alot and its just really strange because what if there were no such thing as swear words? what woul dthey shout? would there still be such a thing as torettes?
