All i want to know is how long it takes to get rid of Pin Worms with treatment?

My boyfriend has worms, they're around his rectum and he is pooing them out so I suspect it is Pin worms and not round worms. So I want to know how long it usually would take for him to get rid of them and to be able to be around me without being contagious. I don't want to know how to get rid of them or to be hygienic because I wash my hands almost all the time. That's probably why I've never had them. Please give me some estimated sort of time as to when I'll be able to see him. (He found out he got them on this day)
