Have you ever had to use a Shriner's Hospital for your child?

Would you recommend going there? I know that I have heard of Shriner's but I am not sure if we are better going there or to a private doctor. My child has a condition that she will need surgery for. The doctor bills are getting more and more expensive. I am more concerned about proper and good medical care and a great surgeon first and foremost.
