Why wont windows movie maker work?

my windows movie maker stoped working. Everytime i turn it on it shows a Debug option then go's away. I tried downloading movie maker 2 but it dosn't show up i even downloaded another editing software but its way to complicated i just want to make videos again can anyone help me find a simple movie maker or tell me how to fix mine.
