Why Do So Many Young People Engage In Pre-Marital When The Bible Strictly Forbids Such Behavior?

It makes me (and Jesus) sad to see so many people hurting themselves by giving into their deviant impulses. Since America's a Christian Nation, shouldn't premarital be against the law?
