What dessert goes with chicken and mashed potatoes?

I'm making my boyfriend dinner and I'm making lemon baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green peas and yummy crusty bread. I was thinking of making chocolate mousse because I know I can make one really similar to one at a restaurant we both like but now I'm rethinking that idea. He doesn't like cake much, or pie so what else could I make for dessert that's pretty easy?
