Nipple stimulation??

Does anyone know if nipple stimulation actually works to induce labor? Wiv my other 3 kids I had to be induced which was such a bad experience each time and this time I really want to go by myself! I've tried just about the lot wiv no joy, has it worked for anyone else? And is it true can be dangerous? If so why? Please no baby will come when ready remarks. Thanks
