Neighbors jealous?

well my neighbors are actually ok.here son is 13 and im 16 he works really hard all day seriously. and i m a muscian who sometimes rakes in bout 800 a week go to schoool and have really good grades lately my moms has been getting pissed off because the neighbors are saying that im lazy and i should get a real job to which i respectfully disagree.im guessing that they are jealous cause i really dont do much other than practice sometimes up yo 14 hours in the summer and perform like 2-3 times a week .i dont want my mom to go tell them off so what should i do?thanks
